"Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world--the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride of life--is not from the Father but is from the world. And the world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever." (1 John 2:15-17)
"You adulterous people! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God." (James 4:4)
"If you were of the world, the world would love you as its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you." (John 15:19)
"Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect." (Romans 12:2)
"I have given them your word, and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world." (John 17:14)
"But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body to be like his glorious body, by the power that enables him even to subject all things to himself." (Philippians 3:20-21)
"The eye is the lamp of the body. So, if your eye is healthy, your whole body will be full of light, but if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light in you is darkness, how great is the darkness! "No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money." (Matthew 6:22-24)
"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ." (Colossians 3:23-24)
Do not be overly attached to worldly (non-spiritual) things. Believers are to love God and one another, not the world or possessions. The term "world" is not a reference to earth, or even to all material things. In this context, the term "world" is a reference to the fallen, man-centered system, or way of life. This system is filled with the desires of the flesh, the desires of the eyes and pride of life.
Someone who loves the way this world operates, including its control by sin, is a person who cannot also focus on the Father's will. So, brothers, sisters, and friends, place your devotion and love firmly in God, for you serve the Lord Christ. The world is passing away along with its desires but rejoice and be exceedingly glad: for whoever does the will of God abides forever, for great is your reward in heaven.
Frankly, above and beyond their love of the material things of the world, I think people love their comforting lies about the world and what's in it. No one would admit to this, of course.
But it's not even that simple. In their own minds, they don't know these are lies and they don't know they have chosen them. All of them simply become the "truth" of the world. And who would question what is true?
Jesus referred to Satan as the father of lies, so you'd think people would be a lot more careful about what they believe. Really, you typically get just the opposite when you confront someone. They think it's the Devil trying to trick them. It's evidently too much for them to consider whether they'd already been tricked, or even just made an error, to which we are all prone.
I don't think the world would be anything at all like it is if people just loved the truth. The truth I wrestle with--and wish I could find a convincing and comforting lie for--is that the world is the way it is, and will be the way it will be, and that there's not much I can do about it.
Amen brother. We are not without hope brother, hope in the Lord Jesus Christ and His return.
What will Jesus do when He comes back? Let Jews lie about him and let Jew-Controlled white jew-servant zio-cucks murder him again?
Another blood sacrifice? Drink the blood?
You could read the bible and see what is says about that instead of lashing out ignorantly.
I have read the Bible many times
Eat the cracker!!! Drink the bloooooOOoOooooD! You're saved by Deee BLOoooOOD!
a) QUEST (the act of seeking) -TION (action)...a rhetorical distraction...to seek implies reaction to what can be sought within action.
b) true vs false reasoning represents a reaction to what another suggested about "what is" perceivable.
c) action (motion) sets reaction (life) on a quest (inception towards death)...discerning this implies ones need to resist that quest. Others suggest quests (questions) to tempt one to seek (answers) while ignoring to resist motion.
d) holding onto suggested (truth) while repelling suggested (lies) tempts one to spend resistance onto suggested, while ignoring to be the resistance (life) within perceivable (inception towards death).
e) self discernment teaches one to learn to let go. Example...grief tempts one to hold onto; relief represents letting go...in-between operates ones resistance aka ones struggle between wanting to hold onto and needing to let go. This struggle represents compression between input (impressing) and output (expressing). The more one compresses (resists), the more effective compression (resistance) grows.
Consenting to suggested (truth or lies) tempts one to ignore perceivable (knowledge). Holding onto suggested implies ignoring to know what goes on within perceivable.
a) ER'ROR, noun [Latin error from erro, to wander.]...no mistakes within reality; all parts within JOURNEY, noun [Latin diurnus, dies.]
b) suggested we (plural) tempts perceiving one (singular) to ignore self, hence lack of self discernment about being partial within whole.
c) consenting to stand under (understanding) the suggestions of others represents PRONE, adjective [Latin pronus.] - "bending forward; inclined; not erect; lying with the face downward; contrary to supine".
consent/dissent; faith/doubt; belief/disbelief; agreement/denial; submission/defiance etc...both sides represent ignorance of perceivable for suggested.
a) those who suggested wrestling openly declared it to be fake, to be show; to be lies etc.
b) to wrestle tempts one into contention against others about wanted vs not wanted outcomes...ones struggle to sustain self implies ones reaction (perceiving) to enacting origin (perceivable)...not towards suggested outcomes.
c) one (partial) needs to struggle within whole...not trying to fight other ones. One fighting another one implies ignorance of one-self for contention with others, hence putting others over self, hence putting self under others willingly, hence submitting to others instead of struggling for self.
Fighting ones reduces the resistance of the one that needs to be sustained...one-self. The perpetuation of one-self implies intercourse with another one for off-spring, hence once again the need to learn to let go OFF-spring, hence struggling with the want to hold onto.
Being (life) implies will (free will of choice) within way (inception towards death)...others suggest THE-ism to trick ones choice to submit to suggested choices of others, hence to a supreme being distracting from being supreme (highest in authority aka free will of choice).
Notice that all suggested -isms require ones consent by free will of choice, hence representing an offer towards ones supreme being and a temptation for one to ignore self when consenting to others...
