What is with those random "Amazon online offers" posts? Pretty frequent posts of users without any previous background... Thoughts?

Just the title

These are a Chinese bot. I wish the mods would just auto-remove any 'Amazon offers'-titled posts as simply commercial spam.

That links is just redirectors to https://www.amazon.com/gp/goldbox?ref_=nav_cs_gb&_encoding=UTF8&linkCode=ur2

To avoid banning by URL.

Link itself contains ref_ parameters that contain tag for Amazon Attribution API:

Amazon Attribution is a measurement product that enables advertisers to understand the impact of their non-Amazon marketing strategies on driving Amazon shopping activity. Advertising is measured by including attribution tags on non-Amazon media across paid and organic channels including search, social, display, video, email, third-party affiliate marketing, and more.

nav_cs_gb tag is Amazon's own tag you get f.e. if you go to amazon.com and click "Today's deals".

Thanks for unfurling this. I've never clicked it but was always curious about the encoding

Not many, likely just the criminals reminding us that we can't have nice things.

Gonna be there to piss all over it and make it as shitty as possible till they are identified and removed, par for the course of humanity.

All that nice things from Amazon you could want to have you could have much cheaper from Aliexpress, Taobao, Banggood and so on.

As for posts - its just a bot. Could write something similar in a half hour. Unfortunately, moderators do not control that board fully, so it could be tricky to ban it with limited abilities.

Understood, but I was mostly suggesting about the criminals that pay the coder to write the shitty bot script.

They are the ones reminding us we cannot have nice things like the forum without their criminal enterprise rearing it's useless head needlessly.

It does not bother me, I think it is acceptable exchange.

You won't like this answer, but it's the truth:

The majority of people the world over view the conspiracy community at large as gullible suckers. Some may be onto something when from the outside, all you see is qtards, flerfers and the....enthusiastically religious. (The presence of the latter in the conspiracy community being one of life's little ironies.)

So this community has been marked victim by grifters and manipulators of all different shapes and influences.

At least the Amazon spammer from India is transparent with his schtick. The oil industry, gop thinktank, Trump campaign and foreign nation shills in here are slightly more subtle.
