Idk I'm surprised young people aren't collectively a lot more distraught than they seem to be, given the clown world they're growing up in and their bleak as hell future. More and more kids lamenting a pervasive yet mysterious sadness and/or dread actually makes a LOT of sense at this point in history.

I once witnessed a teen girl (who was gorgeous by the way) hysterically call and cry for hours to this older man she had a crush on, with a big fat lie about her boyfriend who just died in a horrible car accident where his seatbelt cut his head off. Like legit cry, sobing and waling.
Why?
For attention she wouldnt have gotten otherwise. Thats what teen girls do.
