Basically, the Chinese real estate and construction sectors are imploding, and the CCP is having trouble hiding it.
Remember the 3 Gorges Dam? It's in serious disrepair. There was a lot of talk about the possibility of it collapsing around the start of the pandemic, and a lot of the flooding that happened in China and Vietnam was thought to be the result of the dam losing strength and being unable to contain the rainwater.
If the dam were to burst, it could literally throw the earth off its axis, and possibly alter its orbit. Funny you never hear it mentioned anymore...

China, is cutting its fat. Like the West. It is likely going to cause a huge run off. Triggering increasing unrest and hitting people harder, taxes, costs. Running off to the dumbest people polluters. It could also lead to conflict. But it's basically just the top assholes restructuring and refitting the grid.
China has change some stances on tech, tech getting too powerful, not in the sense of dystopia, but profit and usage, and their wasteful investments, freaking ghost bust cities. Dunno, fully. It is some of it.
Yes there are debts, and defaults, but it isn't the other half of it, regulations. Prices didn't suddenly rise because Ukraine and COVID, or whatever fecal transplant they're providing as excuse for their bullshit lobotomies. It's because they sliced their wrists, they cut their lines, passed sanctions, adopted regulations, shouting environmental carbon nonsense, and generally want to become even more annoying in the next cycle. It doesn't matter how clean you say the air is, there are still assholes shitting everywhere. Better address the assholes. Start by hiking prices and causing knock on effects to cause. It's where we're at.

I follow Chinese financials and have a great curated list of fintwits to follow that cover China. Their real estate market (the largest asset class in the world) is definitely a ticking time bomb. I also heard about their dam almost bursting in 2020.
But I never heard about that being able to tilt us off our axis. Already our poles are shifting in anticipation for the micronova coming in the next decade or two - but I can't see that happening with the dam...

I think the Chinese "economic collapse" is very much like the 3 Gorges Dam... both are promoted by CCP shills to make China look weak when they are clearly in a fully advantageous position.
