Equity encourages this. Equality encourages bettering yourself. If you need a step stool, equality wants you to have the step stool. Equity wants you to step on those around you.
The way equity has been manipulated is for losers. When I read the materials it sounds like equality that's been renamed. The application... the bullying, the self segregation, the allies nonsense, that's regressed us pre civil rights era.
And, I've been harrassed because a so called ally that couldn't get it through their head to stop talking to me.
Frankly, I'd settle for rules that are clear and consistently enforced. Elon wants to ban race stats, whatever. So long as all race stats are banned and we all have to speak assuming anything we say about race is conjecture.
The reason twitter, youtube, facebook, etc are so bad is that their rules only apply to people they don't like.
