Just for fun... Is there a conspiracy about day light saving time?

I know there's gotta be something!

I get that you aren't privy to it, but it's also good for construction because there are a few weeks there that are dark at seven into seven thirty AM. Can't pour concrete in the dark (although in the interest of full disclosure, I'll say that I, begrudgingly, have.)

No I agree with that 110%. Why not toggle people's time getting off as a society, like give every office a number and have the numbers go a half hour after another, maybe we could do something about "rush hour" but it's clear that's a just fine concept to the "important" people (you know, or something...)

Arizona voted not to do it. That's why they are on Mountain Time. More places need to vote not to do it. Currently it only benefits electric companies.

In USSR the official reason for daylight saving time was the savings of electricity used for the lighting. However it was unclear how that supposed to work, because most power consumption for lighting was street lights and they turned on and off with photosensors, and not by clocks, so there can't be any savings at all.

No. It was invented because of WWII. In peace time it's useless, but politicians are too stupid to understand this.

No, it provides them control. It means they can make up narratives, like global time and time zones. They will always set their watches too? Tune into the changing of the clock.

Farmers. Animals and plants don't care. Literally they aren't fooled by idiots setting the clock. So why do the dumb humans get fooled. Perhaps it's for any ancient tech that they stole from another time zone, it needed the sun to shine correctly at.

No, it's literally just to be self imposed cunts. Correct the time. Why? Somebody explain it. The farmers? Not the animals and plants. What farmers? Those other cunts, telling the time.

Not if you work at seven AM.

Yes. Mostly related to Flat Earth.

Look into the International date line, a magical line separating Russia and Alaska. There is over 24hr difference between the two, yet the Sun is at solstice at nearly the same time.

It didn't end in November for all of the 20th century, now it ends in November regularly. (chart at the bottom of this wiki page)

I'm sure there's a cyclical reason for it, but it just strikes me as odd.

Actually, it looks like it was the Energy Policy Act of 2005, and it made daylight savings time start WAY earlier and end way later.
