I think the disquiet in the aftermath /running-down of the pandemic is fully expected and being intentionally worsened - for example by Schwab lackey Trudeau and his enactment of emergency powers in Canada. It's deeply unpopular with the people, so very strange for a not-so-popular politician to carry through with something that will ruin his already minor amount of popularity and very likely bring down his government... unless he's following an agenda. Schwab has hinted at the synthesis agenda when he lamented people not trusting their governments anymore, and that his "socially inclusive" WEF and Great Reset holds the answer in it's "stakeholder capitalism" model of global governance.
And in Hong Kong...IT IS STILL GOING ON!! Far from the aftermath for us and us alone. Economy literally destroyed and CCP sent to flatten the curve over a cough, government says that they will not hold back in stopping the spread because we must at all costs.
As hopeless as it seems now, the world is interconnected, you cannot have people in North America and Europe being over the pandemic while keeping it in full blown force in Asia forever.

I do agree with most of it, it seems they wanted everyone to think we are going down a super dark path, thinking camps, forced injections,, etc but really they have (just) a dark path as the solution. We know they always have a solution. I bet the solution may not be as far out as camps and forced injections everywhere like they alluded, but still a horrible metaverse pod living UBI having no freedom type of dystopia is what their solution IS. There is a faction that posts "post apocalyptic" predictions about what would happen after an economic collapse or totalitarian takeover that include essentially the people being cared for, receiving free money, being provided with high quality virtual reality, enough food, medical care, a clean and warm place to sleep and more. After an upheaval that causes what a reasonable person would consider a dystopia, these things would not come to pass.
UBI stands for universal basic income and is a guaranteed income for all people without restriction (That is what makes it universal--other schemes with strings attached are wrongly called UBI.) Even with current UBI proposals people are talking about attaching it to behavoir (not unlike a social credit score as part of the China Model).

I am not completely sold on this rug pull theory. It could be another just two weeks thing. They can intentionally leave parts in the exercises which aren't supposed to happen, they are just there to pacify the potential readers.

The scenario that comes to mind though is operation "shock and awe" in Iraq 2003, few people know that part of the operation was giving hope to Arabs that Saddam will inflict casualties and put on a glorious battle against the crusaders. This was done through various propaganda outputs which were considered "free and uncontrolled" like Al Jazeera (controlled by the British).
The effect was complete demoralization of any future hope of resistance when they saw how quickly things crumpled!
