You can keep flying in any direction and eventually come back to the same point. How does that happen on a plane?

And your point of reference for straight is what? Magnetic north? Chasing the sun?

Did Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 try flying 'straight' while instrument blind? Where would it have gone? What happens to planes that enter Arctic air space?

Flat earth is the globe cut in half with the atmosphere as the "dome". From a top down view a plane would still be able to fly "around".

You're trying to combine two different models.

You'd hit south America, down to Argentina then the edge of "Antarctica" just like you normally would. You're allowed to go on the outer edge of Antarctica but never across.

Flight routes; more than 98% of visitors fly from Punta Arenas to King George Island, less than 1% fly from Punta Arenas to the South Pole

Kek 1%

Fuck off you'll never get past the exterior. Only a few know the truth just enjoy the larp and let you mind wander for a bit.

Physically and 100% impossible for planets or anything earth-sized to be anything but round due to this thing called gravity. If it were flat it would buckle and implode on itself. Please stop being a fucking mentally retarded idiot.

The Almighty and holy "Gravity", that can easily be disproven and has never been proved beside dropping something. "Gravity bro!!", the objects drops cause its more dense than the medium surrounding it.

OK, disprove it then. Your evidence must be peer-reviewed.

I can prove it with thousands of peer-reviewed papers. Starting with Magellan in 1519.

Antarctica is a continent of ice, miles thick. Of course, it has walls of ice. It can also be flown over.

Magellan's 'giants' were Patagonians who were 7 feet tall. He and his crew were around 5 feet tall. Europeans were smaller back then.

Why must you inject ignorance into everything you type?

Go read some books. There are zero points that can be corroborated by anyone with a physics degree. You morons circle jerk each other because some pea-brain says something that has no proof, validation or is peer-reviewed. There is a reason only obscure nut bars end up on Youtube talking about the earth being flat. It is never someone with any education.

Simply stated the haversine distance would dictate that the flight paths should be longer than they are as observed by these pilots. Their flight paths agree with a Euclidean distance framework. I’m not taking sides just specifying that this is interesting.

Law of physics is a box created to keep us in check. Anything outside the realm of that is automatically deemed dumb.

And that all holy education you bring up is generational indoctrination. Their actions are playing into a bigger hand, they believe what they researched because it's all they've ever known. It's called compartmentalization.

Nah, thank fick I dont listen to those guys.

Don't be obtuse. You don't trust corporate scientists. There are masses amounts of data from over 500 years that support a round earth. The data on flat earth is less than 20 years and is only promoted by non-tenured amateurs using unscientific experiments. They are never peer-reviewed and can never be repeated with consistency. Think all you want, but the reality is the earth is a ball, just like ALL planetary bodies. It is literally impossible for a large flat plane to exist in space. Besides, do you not think by now someone with a private jet would just fly around to the other side and take photos? Why has there been no video or images of the other side of your flat disc? School me that bright boy.

Forget someone else’s nonsense “proof”

You can prove the globe wrong yourself without special equipment

Do you live near a large body of water? You can still do this over land but I would then encourage you to do this experiment in a few different locations to rule out the possibility of your land samples all being coincidentally flat

Ideally, you stand on a shoreline and scan up the coast or directly across the water if possible and spot the most distant object/landmark

On a clear day you should likely be able to see over 20/25 kms with your naked eye. Bring binoculars to go much further and give yourself zero room for doubt.

Pay attention to what you’re seeing. Notice that you not only see the entire landmark but also even the ground and shoreline running up to it

Then hit google maps and right click your location, measure distance, right click again on your distant landmark(s) and measure distance

Enter that distance into an earth curvature calculator

Earthcurvature.com

Why can you still see 100% of that distant object that should be completely obscured from view due to earths supposed curvature?

OK dipshit;

The video is a supposed pilot who can't figure out basic physics tells me he is a fucking twat. He can't understand how covering 3000 Km can be done when the earth is spinning 1000 Km/hour like what????

If you are in a car and throw a ball in the air, does it fly backwards? No, it stays WITH you because of inertia. The jet is like a ball being thrown up in the air. EVERYTHING is spinning through space together.

Regarding your statement on distance. What is your IQ? Are you that much of a dumb ass that you can't understand why you can't see the bottom of things like buildings or ships at the horizon? If you look at a mountain far far away, you will never see the very bottom - why? If the earth is flat you would see the foothills of all mountains. You would not see a ship disappear over the horizon.

The problem with flat earthers is they are so full of stoopid they can never answer these basic questions.

Well I hadn’t read your comment yet so I haven’t had the chance to answer your questions

Calm down for a second and I’ll explain for you

“The jet is like a ball being thrown up in the air. EVERYTHING is spinning through space together “

Then why must the sniper account for the spin of the earth? If some force is pulling every air water and solid molecule together in such perfect harmony that we don’t even sense it, then why does this magical force ignore the snipers bullet?

“What is your IQ? Are you that much of a dumb ass that you can't understand why you can't see the bottom of things like buildings or ships at the horizon?”

This is the law of perspective

You can bring the boat that has disappeared back into view with optical zoom

At some point you are limited by the density of our atmosphere itself, no matter your optical power

“ If you look at a mountain far far away, you will never see the very bottom - why? If the earth is flat you would see the foothills of all mountains. You would not see a ship disappear over the horizon.”

More of the same thing; law of perspective

Like looking down a very long hotel hallway. The floor rises and the ceiling drops until they meet somewhere down the hallway and create the same thing as our horizon

We of course know the hallway isn’t shrinking

Same thing is the streetlights lining the road

Looking at it, it looks like the streetlights get shorter but they are all the same size

I’d answer more of your basic FE questions but there are content creators who have already done a much better job of this

Check out OddTV’s “flat earth in 5 minutes” video, found via flatearth101.com

Plenty of resources on there and a FAQ video that will answer the top 20 questions or whatever

Ericdubay.com has everything you could need to understand the flat earth model

He has a lot of other content that I haven’t checked out, that isn’t FE related, but he has all of the content sorted by topic

Easy to navigate

I didn’t pick up on a great explanation as to why I’m looking at a distant object that should be entirely obscured from view due to earths supposed curvature

Mind elaborating?

Then why must the sniper account for the spin of the earth?

Why don't you google it for fuck sake? Accounting for the planet's rotation depends on the direction of the target. If it's easterly, the bullet will land higher than the shooter aimed. If the target is westerly, the bullet will shoot low. If you shoot straight north or south, where the axes of the Earth are, there will be no effect at all.

You can bring the boat that has disappeared back into view with optical zoom

100% Wrong - you fucking twat. If you are at ground level, and the ship is falling behind the curve the most powerful telescope in the world will not show the ship's waterline. No fucking way. Show me evidence or STFU.

The floor rises and the ceiling drops

Pointless. This has zero to do with a ship sailing over the horizon. You are like debating a child.

found via flatearth101.com

Their first point: 1) The horizon always appears perfectly flat 360 degrees around the observer regardless of altitude.

WRONG!!! You can clearly see the curvature in a jet. I do, why do you not? You just have such a small brain that you cannot comprehend the fact that the earth is a fucking HUGE ball.

https://ourplnt.com/how-high-see-curvature-of-the-earth/

Mind elaborating?

If you understood physics you would know that a planet is round because of gravity. A planet's gravity pulls equally from all sides. Gravity pulls from the center to the edges like the spokes of a bicycle wheel. This makes the overall shape of a planet a sphere. If it were flat it would buckle and break apart because the center would pull up the sides.

Ask yourself why the condescending tone and personal attacks

Disappointing

I did exceptionally well in school, particularly in math and science

" Why don't you google it for fuck sake? "

I'm pointing this contradiction out to you and you told me to google it

Why does the force that pulls every single other atom around in perfect harmony ignore the bullet? This should give you pause

https://www.bitchute.com/video/QImI7ys7tYss/

Skip to 40:00 for the boat over the water brought back into view with optical zoom

At some point you will be limited by the density of the atmosphere itself, no matter your optical power

" This has zero to do with a ship sailing over the horizon "

I'm giving you a simple and common example of the Law of Perspective, to help illustrate the phenomena for you

" The horizon always appears perfectly flat 360 degrees around the observer regardless of altitude "

The horizon appears the same degree of flat no matter the altitude, is what they mean

When you look straight out at the horizon, the sides will appear to curve a bit and this is due to the limits of your sight

Assume you can see exactly 30 kms from your point of view

This would create a circle of observation for you, which would look like a slight curve from your perspective

If it were perfectly flat, that would mean your area of observation would be a square which would also mean you can see further in some directions than others, which isn't the case

This is also covered in the Law of Perspective subject

So much of your questions all answered with one very true and easily verifiable well known fact, the Law of Perspective

https://www.bitchute.com/video/m0QBxL9NLtb4/
