I am a proud man, but life beats that out of you, despite my many accomplishments. But the clot shot is my line in the sand. I will never get that shot.
To be fair, this stance helped because the only debt I have is my house. My family is all behind me. I know not everyone is in a situation like I am, but we've had to go from middle class to poor before when I lost a job because my tastes exceeded my budget, and we all hung together.
There are a lot of people that are on the margins of society pre-covid, either part of the cash economy (I've done that) with various state aid. They all manage to get along, we'd have to do the same (again) and just not have nice stuff.
