White hat when they report a bug or vulnerability to a company privately, and black when they hack into and deface organizations representing things their woke onlyfan ruler doesn't like, gray when they are just fucking around and figure out they can put funny messages on billboards or whatever.
I always viewed it that the independent hackers no matter their goal are the true white hats while the people who work for the public entites are the black hats

A deadman switch countdown timed to a full moon was a pretty weird coincidence if you ask me. Thousands of people were up last night trying to figure out what would happen when the countdown went down.
It is hard to say what if anything happened. Sites kept crashing and its just another rabbit hole.
McAfee either changed everything about how he communicates, somehow lost the ability to tie anything directly back to pre-suicide John, and behaves completely differently. Or he might be dead and assassinated with a poor attempt at a cover up. I don’t know we’ll see.
