However, there is one inevitable future that even I absolutely fear; the future of having to live wearing a mask and unable to enjoy gathering with large crowds until I get manipulated into breaking down and being converted into a half-machine, psychopathic feral cannibal who cannot sustain myself in any way but to kill, torture and scavenge for corpses for the sake of death and torture.

It is reasonable to assume that will take a toll on some other aspect of the body, and likely not in a good way.
I think they'll likely Just dangle carrots like going to the movies, flying on airplanes, jobs etc.
they will do it incrementally.
at first, they will vaccinate volunteers...
after they run out of volunteers, they will claim that unless everyone else is vaccinated, they can't achieve herd immunity
and thats why they need a vaccine mandate.
if they rolled out the mandate first, some volunteers might have been spooked.
