It caused a panic where everyone who was observing from Broadway in front of city hall (all lanes packed with people) turned and ran at once in panic and some people were even being trampled.

Well known in the 9/11 truther community, but it's certainly lazy journalism to not write with newcomers always in mind, such as by providing hyper links and definitions in parentheses upon initital mentions of acronyms. To be honest, the architects and engineers for 9/11 truth may not be all they seem, and their work should be followed with caution. Very likely they are controlled opposition.
