There was something about a lady in government who was secretly barred from owning a firearm by the FBI without her knowledge and she later found out herself through inquiry.
Then some shit went down on Jan 6th that made some government guys and gals uneasy feeling, like they need security. Why not pack their own security? It's their right. And this seems like what Trump's EO was about.
