WTF is going on. They removed my ban 2 days ago.
I was able to make a few comments on reddit this morning, including:

And almost immediately I was banned for "violent content."
This time it says "the ban will not be lifted."

The shin bruising can be easily covered, not so much a face bruising which they did on the first ban with the articles and all of that. So now when someone asks "Hey, why was AP banned and articles written about him calling him all kinds of awful names, that's not right" the answer can be "well we took him back and he did it again right away so he's gone for good this time." A CYA that will probably suffice for the vast majority.

I signed up with my voat name today to reply to this, having been a Reddit lurker for years: they’re messing with you. They want you to be jerked back and forth - appeal the ban and they will likely agree like the last time. It’s petty and weird but they see it as chipping away at you, which may be correct, even if you acknowledge their intent and try not to let it get to you.
You have worked hard over the years and likely have a personal connection to the work, and it’s this emotionality that they want to attack. You know you are doing good work, and they want to make it tough for you -but see that as a sign that you’re doing good work.
It’s all the power they have.

I actually just used this and it didn’t work right. I’m not sure if it was super buggy or if reddit built some kind of defense against it. Maybe I messed something up but I tried following the instructions to a T. Ended up writing a small script to do it myself. Sad thing is I’m sure they have back ups (and people outside of reddit also have backups) and no way they delete all the logs.

I got banned for 3 days for "hateful content" after I told some nigger that was bragging about getting "wyt grls" and was saying white men are all addicted to heroin, "thank god for the CIA getting you monkeys addicted to crack in the 80s, about time we do it again" or something to that affect. I waited the 3 days and after that expired I was immediately hit with a 7-day ban. I never even posted again lol
