Like axo, I got caught up in it as well. While I'll proudly say I didn't suck Congress's dick, I never called for violence in any of my posts. The ban was purely political. The thing is that Reddit will become a complete echo chamber now. Some of the users will have no idea that there are outside opinions or that the bans are even happening to so many.

But rather than making alts, I'd rather devote my time to new platforms that welcome my voice. Ones that can be lifted up that are willing to protect free speech.

I was banned by Amos_Quito for "Ban evasion" and "trolling" when all I did was post an imagine of another user being banned unfairly.

PyramidsAreCrazyShit [S] 4 points ago +4 / -0

Ridiculous. I couldn't even get anyone to tell me why.

AQ is a former openly Neocon resurfaced as a pseudo freedom loving conservative. The reality is he is questionable.

Reddit will be dead by next year. It'll just be bots responding to other bots.

ayyy... getting a reddit ban for opinion, dissent or argument, gets points in my book.

we should have flair... symbolic to a purple heart.

Who gives a shit about reddit?

We probably should have learned better from the history of events. Reddit like the other prominent social media has been completely taken over by the left mob and its owners.

The country is heading towards a bigger schism that will be not Dem versus Repub but socialist and communist left versus American values conservatives.

We need a new major political party and a new set of media - news and social - not owned controlled and censored by the left. Parler is a start but we need a conservative TV, a conservative version of YouTube, a conservative Twitter equivalent. Dunno about Facebook equivalent - that concept is mind-rotting anyway. Do we need conservatives staring at their phones all the time? But on the other hand, a .win is a very valuable resource for us all.

In short, we need separation from the mainstream media which are thoroughly owned. Unfortunately the elite agenda is to divide and conquer, but we are past the point of trying for unity, so from here out we need to stick with our own and support each other.

Anyway, Reddit has become a shithole and not a fit place to congregate.

Yup. Other then a few gaming subs and one Paranormal Sub I follow I have basically been purged from Reddit myself

Basedsliceofwinning 1 point ago +1 / -0

No surprise here, and I of course deleted my account ages ago.

But this can be a decent red-pilling opportunity. Do you know off-hand which subs and prominate users were banned. And any justification given, if any?

I thought you loved free speech MagaPede69? I guess you only love your own opinion echoed back at you. Just another authoritarian masquerading as a liberal.

MagaPede69 -18 points ago +3 / -21

Oh, I love free speech. I just think it's funny that all these folks are getting a taste of their own medicine for a change. That's why I'm here and not on Reddit. Plus, you guys need the truth way more than they do on r/conspiracy. At least some of them will listen to logic and reason.

Please enlighten me as to when the last elected Democrat official was censored or banned from Twitter.

throwaway22 1 point ago +3 / -2

Trump getting banned on twitter is first amendment violation!

tmuktkpuqzyc 0 points ago +3 / -3

It's not though, Twitter is a private company.

DZP1 2 points ago +3 / -1

By that logic a private company should be free to kill babies, bomb natives, rape women, etc. because being private they are above the law and Constitution.

tmuktkpuqzyc 1 point ago +2 / -1

None of those things are outlawed by the constitution, they are outlawed by laws, which (unlike the constitution) do apply to private entities.

throwaway22 1 point ago +3 / -2

Wow u support communism!

tmuktkpuqzyc 1 point ago +2 / -1

I support the constitution. It's a collection of rules that apply to the government, not to private entities.

I'm not aware of a Democrat that violated Twitter's terms of service for a justifiable ban. It's probably happened, but I'm not personally aware of an example.
