Like axo, I got caught up in it as well. While I'll proudly say I didn't suck Congress's dick, I never called for violence in any of my posts. The ban was purely political. The thing is that Reddit will become a complete echo chamber now. Some of the users will have no idea that there are outside opinions or that the bans are even happening to so many.
But rather than making alts, I'd rather devote my time to new platforms that welcome my voice. Ones that can be lifted up that are willing to protect free speech.
Please enlighten me as to when the last elected Democrat official was censored or banned from Twitter.
Trump getting banned on twitter is first amendment violation!
It's not though, Twitter is a private company.
By that logic a private company should be free to kill babies, bomb natives, rape women, etc. because being private they are above the law and Constitution.
None of those things are outlawed by the constitution, they are outlawed by laws, which (unlike the constitution) do apply to private entities.
Wow u support communism!
I support the constitution. It's a collection of rules that apply to the government, not to private entities.
I'm not aware of a Democrat that violated Twitter's terms of service for a justifiable ban. It's probably happened, but I'm not personally aware of an example.
