So this is a conspiracy site, let's explore the first conspiracy... who is behind it. Now we all now axolotl_peyotl - he's the music maker. The man who bans those who disagrees and then decries censorship. But there's someone new here, someone unfamiliar. Doggos.

Now, this is a forum for free thinkers. It's not political. It's free from the agendas of reddit. Now we can really ask the tough questions.

So let's ask the tough question: Why is it now being moderated by a moderator of https://thedonald.win/moderators ?

We're all conspiracy theorists, we're all critical thinkers. So here's some critical thinking for you: Why are we handing the keys over to a partisan?

Next time can you make a post about an actual conspiracy, and not your online hate-stalking?

U/Doggos is the tech guru for TD and makes platforms like this possible.

You can see all his post at the link above. Don't bite the hand that feeds you.

IMHO it’s way more transparent to mark the sys admin as a moderator rather than it is to keep the community in the dark as to who has the god mode level of access.

Sorry, I think there's something wrong with the link, I can't see all his posts, only the posts he makes under that username.

Never had a problem with u/axalotl_peyotl.

Is Hagbard here too?

Doggos 6 points ago +6 / -0

Perfectly valid concern. I am responsible for the development of all the Win sites, so naturally I was a moderator here before release, and simply have not yet removed myself. Axo is still the top mod here.

What is the software you used to make this site?

Ok, if you're the technical muscle behind the operation - and since you believe that censorship is wrong, I'll make a deal wiht you. If I provide evidence directly to you that axolotl has been censoring and banning people on /r/conspiracy simply for disagreeing with him, you remove axolotl as a mod from this forum. Deal?

Doggos 4 points ago +4 / -0

I believe censorship is wrong, and I very strongly support freedom of speech (even though I don't particularly utilize it).

I don't think that banning people for disagreeing is good for the health of a community, but it's also not a platform's place to create or enforce rules for communities.

Unless a Win community permits posting illegal content (such as illegal porn), we won't take any action.

Removing someone as a moderator is not a breach of free speech. We regularly allow far lefties take over our communities because we are too nice to remove them as figures of authority.

Finale_Theorem [S] -4 points ago +1 / -5

So you've told us you and axo set up this forum, you've told us that you don't think that there should be any banning, but you're perfectly fine with axo - the person you partnered with to set up this platform, banning people for disagreeing with him?

4
Doggos 4 points ago +4 / -0

I don't believe the platform (in this case it's "Win", which hosts a number of different communities) should be making any decisions like that.

-1
Finale_Theorem [S] -1 points ago +1 / -2

No but your platform has appointed axo as a moderator. So you're not making decisions, you're just appointing people to make decisions. To put it another way: what are the criteria for becoming a moderator, and having that power other than being appointed by you - the platform?

banning people for disagreeing with him?

Reddit is a battleground...everyone we've banned at /r/conspiracy broke the rules there. I wish we didn't have to have those rules but it's necessary when dealing with a shithole site like reddit.

We don't have the same rules here...you're not going to be banned for disagreeing with anyone.

Finale_Theorem [S] -1 points ago +1 / -2

Yeah you didn't start banning people on /r/conspiracy until you felt like you were losing the argument. And when you do start banning people from here? Well who'll be bale to call you out? No one. You've just created your own safe space.

How did I break the rules here? When I petitioned you dug through my history for a joke I made and basically told me to fuck off.

sry about that have an unban

NelsonMandelaffect -3 points ago +1 / -4

Maybe people can change. I thank you for that. I've never participated in bad faith no matter what my opinions were, so the ban was pretty shitty to me. Props for acknowledging it.

Doggos is the mind behind .win. He understands the perils of censorship, which is why he made this place. You’ve made it all the way here and yet you still haven’t realized who the bad guys are?
