if it was behind the curve, you would not see the mountain at all.

well, there are several exceptions to this rule of thumb, but yes - basically... if something is not in view then generally it cannot be seen.

sorry, i am missing your point.

definitely twice vaxxed - not sure (but doubt) the boost.

full disclosure: she has had an ongoing stress to her system for several years (uterine fibroids: non-cancerous growths in the uterus that can develop during a woman's childbearing years) which she was waiting until after COVID™ to address -- i.e., didn't see a doctor about the situation until a few months ago...

so... i mean, she had some "system stress", but she was also a very fit lady.

i am sure pfizer would say "can't prove it!".

no... i can't prove it. that's true.

and that's how they win - for now.

a) where did I consent to the suggested label "flat earther"?

suck a dick xir

Refraction cannot mirage a perfectly clear image.

if it's perfectly clear then obviously you can see it.

duh

Youve seen a blurry mirage? That's refraction.

trying to figure out if it's AI or other

xolotltlaloc 1 point ago +1 / -0

Point 3. you answered with point 2

yes, i am aware of this...

Refraction is not something that can bring a solid object back into view. It can on the other hand obscure the view of a solid object.

i am talking about atmospheric refraction:

hmmm probably not.

ok... so... basically that means still not one flat earthers has managed to answer my 1 + 1 = 2 question.

interesting.

publicly, yes - who knows how stupid / evil they are behind closed doors.

oh nice,,, i love the analysis paralysis bot - not dumb as fuck at all :)

Let's re-cap:

I ASKED A QUESTION:

1 + 1 = 2

True or False

FLAT EARTHER RESPONDS:

Well; one coconut and one pineapple plus the one holding them and the one suggesting to count them. Still each one different from one another...not the same.

Ask yourself if the coconut and the pineapple are perceivable without the suggested brands "coconut" and "pineapple"? Next ask yourself if counting perceivable is "needed" or if others suggest you to "want" to count?

SUMMARY OF EVENTS:

...ok so... i asked "how many hands do you have", and the flat earther responds:

define: have, and prove to me that i exist

they are just trolls.

a) show me any "two" things that are equal...each "one" of them exists within a different position; hence being perceivable.

wow you are really bending over backwards to avoid such a simple question. still no answer - just a challenge to produce two identical things. ...lol and then and definitional analysis of "does not".

hahahah you sound like Bill Clinton... "well... it depends on your definition of 'is'".

incredible.

1 + 1 = 2, by the way...

it's observational.

in one hand you have a pineapple.

in another hand you have a coconut.

someone asks: "how many hands do you have"

a flat earthers response is:

well.... first, prove to me that i am real.

#facepalm

bitch, you have TWO (2) hands. 1 hand holds a pineapple + 1 hand holds a coconut = 2 hands.

it's observational science.

folks, they will argue with you about - literally - anything.

I don't have to do anything.

don't expect others to do what you are not willing to do. it's hypocritical, and makes you look like an asshole.

We are bouncing ideas and having conversation.

true or false:

1 + 1 = 2

xolotltlaloc 1 point ago +1 / -0

thank you for answer - finally.

are you a flat earther?

1
xolotltlaloc 1 point ago +1 / -0

The spin of the earth affects water going down a drain but rivers and oceans flow wherever the fuck they want,

you said it much better than i did:

The spin of the earth affects water going down a drain

thank you

xolotltlaloc 1 point ago +1 / -0

There aren’t really any flat earthers.

...said the flat earther.

1
xolotltlaloc 1 point ago +1 / -0

So some parts can be flat for 100 miles instead of the 3 mile horizon as per the official Science™.

correct. official Science™ assumes a perfect sphere.

for example, mountains are not flat.

2
xolotltlaloc 2 points ago +2 / -0

OK, so... huh?

Sorry for my confusion - my question is pretty simply... not sure why you feel the need to dance around the bush with long-winded responses that include comments about "reality vs fiction".

correct me if i am wrong... but through all your noise, are you saying "one plus plus does not equal two" ?

Why can't you commit to a simple answer? It's a simple question.

not one of them was stupid enough to get the covid shots or follow plandemic regulations.

neither did i

what's your point?

1
xolotltlaloc 1 point ago +1 / -0

hahahah...

ok ... you got me.... i am a "half wit"; therefor, the earth must be flat :)

ps. insults don't help your cult.

xolotltlaloc 6 points ago +6 / -0

here is a calculator,

your calculator doesn't account for refraction.

find one that does, and get back to us with some updated calculations.

xolotltlaloc 11 points ago +11 / -0
  1. Earth isn't a perfect sphere.

  2. You're not accounting for refraction.

The peak of this mountain should be hidden...

  1. Wait, you can only see "the peek" of Grand Ferrand?? Why can't wee see the whole mountain - only half? Where did the bottom half go? Hmmm......

We do research and understand optics

oh well now i am convinced the earth is flat.

We view objects far beyond what earth curve or refraction should allow mathematically.

so you use math?

true or false: 1 + 1 = 2

2
xolotltlaloc 2 points ago +2 / -0

except earth isn't a perfect sphere, is it? some parts are flatter than others. obviously.

and also light bends with the curvature of the earth a bit...
