After reviewing as much source material as I can, I can find no evidence that Viruses can be cultured or isolated in an active form, at all. I can't find any sources that claim to have a full viral genome without a lot of guesswork.

Seeing them and knowing what they are doing are different things. For viruses I can't fault the logic. Bacterial infection can still be real, the question is a matter of perspective on what is invading..
