If it crashes for any reason, then it wasn't real to begin with. You can't have a currency that is so sensitive like that, it is what it is. I think someone with a lot of influence that wanted crypto might have influenced El Salvador to do this... no idea, but that's my guess because the biggest barrier for crypto becoming money are governments, and that would have proven it was possible. Regardless, there is no way the dollar would go down without a fight, and that fight looks like it will never need to happen, but it remains to be seen I guess.
