What would make a Christian different if they acted in the same manner as everyone else? Or even still, how would God be different if He was just like all the rest of things demanding attention and worship? God doesn't need you or your worship but He chooses to spend His life with you, that's why you were created. There are some good questions to be asking but you seem stuck on one specific one and I don't think you want to think further for some reason, just my observation.

Perhaps you misunderstand? To pledge is to promise and it would be hollow without having the free will to choose, this entails decision and reasoning we are freely able to do and then decide if we want to pledge ourselves to such. I have found only one perfect to serve and that's King Jesus but everyone is free to pledge themselves to what 'they will' apparently in this fallen place, I much prefer God's will, that Guy is way smarter than me.

Really interesting thought process(with opening talk) and I don't think it's for no reason, there's something to it and something else driven by, for lack of a better word, a type of jealousy in regards to relations involving the fairer sex (hence why the twisting and depraving). You misunderstand. Christians don't play victim, we are at war and we acknowledge suffering brings us closer to the Lord and His suffering for us, it's a bond man, nobody enjoys pain for the sake of pain, there's always a reason and it should be examined.
The suffering experienced now, with God's Spirit still around is tolerable, there's still Hope in it, while we have breath, the real suffering is being alone, without God, that is a torment that lingers unto eternity with no hope of redemption or reconcilliation.
As far as I understand sacrifice, it is a custom of accounting of your sins and transfering them for atonement, this used to happen with lambs that were of good purity and the final sacrifice was God shedding His own blood as atonement for the whole world at any time if we want it. You'll have to ask God why with the blood stuff but it's something covenantial.
