No someone wouldnt. Because no one else is receiving subsidies from governments and generating hype without delivering on promises. Not mentioning the environmental impact and space impact of those satellite launchings.

Don't becuase nothing will happen drastically. Those who rule humanity are smarter than most people. They know how to proceed through a piecemeal approach. boil the frog slowly...
So, Im saying, nothing big will ever happen. People reassess their expectations constantly in order to cope with things. And even when something that shakes their beliefs drastically happens they somehow incorporate that into their new reality.
The only good tool in this regard is keeping a diary, and reread it from time to time... You will see even in yourself how your thought patterns changed.
