The movie is actually a decent depiction of how willfully ignorant the public is and how people will jeopardize the entire world if there's a chance they might make a little money.
It's kind of like idiocracy meets armageddon. That said, it's not that good and you're not missing much. You should probably watch a movie before you judge it though. The only real downside to this film is people are probably going to use it to push climate agendas, but the movie leaves interpretation up to the viewer.
