Well it would have been way higher if it wasn't for the widespread drought. Soy yields in particular are increasingly quite quickly because of improved genetics. But soy and corn don't really feed people. Wheat and rice do and those are more important to watch for famine concerns. The rice crop in India is below export levels which means Africa will likely struggle with food security.
They are dominating at the undergraduate level (80/20) but not at the graduate level (67/33). Whereas the 80/20 at undergrad is likely due to self selection (ie they are more interested in STEM), this can't explain the change in ratio for grad school and thus this must be because of biased selection.

It's just a blur in top of a trash can. Also they can't hold 600 that. It's likely a 10 yd which is being generous which could only hold about 500 lb. Assuming babies have the same density of trash that would only equate to 50 or less
The loss will come in the form of heat. Touch such an apparatus after some use and you'll know first hand. Anyways this happens because the conductors are not perfect and there is no such. Supposed superconductors will require quite a bit of energy to maintain such a state so there's no net free lunch here as such
The people now being forced to live in Palestinian Territories had historically lived through what is now Israel prior to 1947. So, why is it virtuous to occupy their homeland and to engage in apartheid towards them?
More people need to do this
