STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW) VIRTUAL CURRENCY EXAMINATION SUPPORT
- INTRODUCTION. The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) requires consulting services to support a taxpayer examination involving virtual currency. In particular, the IRS requires consulting services to calculate taxpayers’ gains or losses as a result of their transactions involving virtual currency. Specific requirements are outlined below.
- BACKGROUND. In Notice 2014-21, the IRS applied general principles of tax law to determine that virtual currency is property for federal tax purposes. The Notice explained, in the form of 16 FAQs, the application of general tax principles to the most common transactions involving virtual currency. Expanding on this 2014 guidance, the IRS recently issued additional detailed guidance— Revenue Ruling 2019-24—to help taxpayers better understand their reporting obligations for specific transactions involving virtual currency. The new Revenue Ruling addresses common questions by taxpayers and tax practitioners regarding the tax treatment of a cryptocurrency hard fork and airdrop. In addition, a set of new FAQs address virtual currency transactions for those who hold virtual currency as a capital asset. To comply with their income tax obligations, taxpayers must track their virtual currency transactions. The transactions that are the subject of this Statement of Work occur on various commercial digital asset exchanges or are reflected on public ledgers (such as a blockchain).
- SERVICES TO BE PROVIDED.
- Data Ingestion and Staging. Taxpayer transactions can be relatively simple, or in some instances, they can have hundreds of thousands of digital asset transactions in a year. These transactions can occur across multiple exchanges and digital wallets. The wallets can be online, on a personal hardware device, or even on paper. These transactions need to be aggregated, and the assets involved need to be valued, as part of the process of computing gains and losses. Additionally, specialized technology and infrastructure is required to digest, contain, and analyze virtual currency data due to unique requirements such as but not limited to decimal place precision, varying field formats, and file formats. The contractor will ingest all data provided by the IRS, as well as any attendant or related data the contractor collects through their systems, necessary to produce the report described in Phase 2. Ingestion will occur utilizing secure file transfer methods between the IRS and the contractor. 1
If you get covid and can't smell it means you have some form of brain damage. That's not the flu. Now maybe it's no big deal and you will fully recover... or maybe it gives you parkinson's disease in a few years. Who knows? But this whole mess is a bit more complicated than EILIAF.
There are dozens of observations that debunk flat earth. For example, calculate the heading of the sunrise on the first day of spring using a flat earth and the allegedly close sun. In reality the heading is due east ... for everyone. Explain how the sunrise lights the top of a mountain first. Globe earth explains it.
They have launched thousands of KH11 satellites and some must be around the moon. So they have the capability to take details of the moon. My guess is that the reason they don't show those pictures is not because things are missing from the moon but there are things on the moon they don't want you to see.
Interesting but inconclusive. You are comparing two poor quality 2D images of a 3D flexible object from different camera angles, different resolutions, different lighting and using different cameras. Try the same test on a bag of potato chips.
A pandemic is an outbreak of a disease that occurs over a wide geographic area. COVID fits that description. If you want to argue that it is not deadly enough to justify killing the global economy I'm all ears. But the "pandemic hoax" crowd is just as wrong as the other side.
If something is objectively stupid it should be labeled as such. Take flat earth for example. A light cannot illuminate half a disk. A light above a disk cannot disappear due to perspective. These experiments are easy to test. So if something is objectively stupid it is a waste of everyone's time to indulge it.
For every story that shows Ellen Degeneres saying she is "very, very lucky" she didn't have any complications from COVID you will see exactly zero stories of anyone famous saying they are very lucky they didn't have complications from the vaccine even though the odds are essentially identical.
Yeah, except COVID is not a hoax. It's likely a bio weapon that has probably mutated into something less awful. We will never know if it was an accident or not. They certainly took advantage of it for psychological warfare on us and yet more division. But it's not the flu. I know several people who have had migraine headaches for months from it. What will be the long term effects from the virus and/or the so-called vaccine? We don't know. It could be no problem or it could be a lifetime of new health problems.
