Correct, that was in 2018. Then Elon Musk and his Boring Company unveiled a 1.14-mile test tunnel in Hawthorne, California, intended as a prototype for a network to alleviate Los Angeles traffic congestion. Built for approximately $10 million, the tunnel is significantly cheaper than traditional subway projects.
It will be much more expensive, because it is not completely stable seismically region, so tunnel of such length should be significantly tougher and so much more complex engineering and building task than, say one under LaManche.
do you agree?
I don't care. There should be no any need for such infrastructure in XXI century.
There is no commerciall sense in this tunnel, because both sides have poor road infrastructure on both ends of proposed tunnel. Both sides will have to spend much more on building roads in sparsely populated Chukotka and Alaska that will make this tunnel useable. And still there will be no much trafic, because it is much easier and cheaper to deliver goods by sea, and faster by plane.
IMHO this tunnel thing looks more like trolling of kind. There could be many much more interesting joint projects between Russia and US to spend billions.
Also, how about the name "Putin-Trump Tunnel,". Do you like the name?
Somebody trolling Trump.
Some have questioned what does Elon Musk know about building undersea rail tunnels?
Somebody trolling Musk.
IIRC this thing about tunnel between Chukotka and Alaska popped up when Russian authorities gifted to US all documents that somehow could have connection to the JFK and his murder. And there was a letter from some schoolgirl about a friendship and stuff with that same proposal of building a tunnel or bridge between USSR and USA.
Yup. Russian presidential aide Kirill Dmitriev, who also heads Russia’s sovereign wealth fund (RDIF), first proposed the project exactly a year ago, describing it as a link that would “symbolize unity”.
“Time for The Boring Company to start working on the Putin-Trump tunnel that would unite Russia and the US, Eurasia and the Americas,” Kirill Dmitriev
Could be. Maybe double that, $16 billion, but possible. Based on Elon Musk and his Boring Company test tunnel in Hawthorne, California a few years back. It was intended as a prototype for a network to alleviate Los Angeles traffic congestion. It was built for approx. $10 million, this tunnel is significantly cheaper than traditional subway projects.
It sounds like a good idea if it doesn't flood, but does America even have the budget for this anymore? I think the National Debt is too high to afford stuff like this.
Debt is the Jews greatest weapon. Look into the 109 countries that kicked them out. The meme is in my folder, but every time after countries kick out the Jews and got rid of their debt, they entered a Golden Age. Offhand, Spain and Germany are the best examples. Cash is a medium of exchange, currency's come into existence because it's easier to carry things that represent "monetary value" like coins, euros, and dollars.
We don't even have to kick them out, just once America collapses create a society not based on Usury that just ignores their debt. The concept of debt only exists for a Z.O.G. Government.
Fuckin do it. Build a road tunnel too.
What do you think about the project? do you agree?
Also, how about the name "Putin-Trump Tunnel,". Do you like the name?
Some have questioned what does Elon Musk know about building undersea rail tunnels? fair question. But, then what does he know about space travel?
There was a story a few years back of Musk supposedly built his own tunnel to overt L.A's traffic..

You're probably not wrong.
Anything as long as they're not spending OUR money on US.
Business as usual

Can we get a tunnel or bridge from the USA to Alaska?
No need for that. Trump has plans to make Canada the 51st state.
Surely canindia is big enough to count as like 5 states.
If you're looking at size, than it would be much more than 5 states. Since Canada is approximately 15 times larger than Texas.
there's already something called "road".
Kind of. You have to drive on backroads through Canada.
20+ year old idea. lyndon larouche..

I guess better late than never. 😂
There is no way they can do that under 8B. 80B maybe

I agree. By the time they start such a project the estimate will triple anyway.

The debt doesn’t exist. It’s a hoax. Currency is printed infinitely by every bank. The concept of a debt doesn’t exist for a government.
the privately owned federal reserve bank (same way federal express is a private compny) has the "license" to print money granted circa 1913.
france, england, etc. taught the u.s. how. usual suspects are the shareholders.
the politicians? they work for the bank.

If they have hundreds of billions for a war on Iran, I'm sure they'll find the money.
it's a joint world project. canada russia will pay too
Sure, Russia doesn't mind. Afterall they're making a killing from Europeans stupidity. The EU members have just agreed to the 22nd sanctions package against Russia. You just can't make this sh*t up. Meantime Donald Trump... https://report.az/en/other-countries/eu-members-agree-22nd-sanctions-package-against-russia
