My latest theory (that I just made up) is that the Earth is a cosmic tabletop war-gaming board.
The pyramids and other similar monuments are playing pieces; the dimensions, orientations and whatever other factors of which translate to the rules of the "game", and the final game piece to be placed will be when the "New Jerusalem" descends from the sky and wins the game.
Gaming/gambling implies choice taking a chance...choice is situated above any game until the moment a chance is taken.
wins the game
You viewing the world as sides (win or loose) instead of yourself as choice in-between implies the game few set up to tempt many to play each other for fools.
playing pieces
Piece implies one part of whole...divided from one another. Pieces implies a game of pluralism tempting one to ignore singularity.
dimensions
Aka the division (di) of mind (mens) within action (ion)...implying a singular process; not a multi-dimensional position.
orientations
Only within a line aka during delineation can each divided being choose in-between orient (east) and occident (west). More importantly...the word orient/oriri - "to rise" implies ones position (life) within loss (inception towards death).
It was a symbol of power for one. There was motivation.
For another, they took years to build, sometimes decades or even centuries.
Also, "pyramid" didn't mean like the ones in Egypt... They could be the ziggurats in South America or oddball looking pyramids in China or whenever
... Finally, you ever Jerry rig something to make it work? Imagine that, but you have the entire budget of a powerful nation to make it work, even if the technology to do it safely or efficiently doesn't exist yet
Correct, there are only three large pyramids in Egypt, plus the red and the bent which are practice models for the great ones. Everything else in antiquity is ziggurat size, except for Etemenanki (Babel), which was the same size as the great pyramid of Menkaure and built the same year IMHO, and which was abandoned spectacularly (while Menkaure's was abandoned when almost finished). After that the next pharaoh skipped pyramids entirely and built a mastaba instead, and architecture backed off for thousands of years.
The first one was called the collapsed pyramid, which failed because they didn't have tech, safety, or efficiency yet. The bent pyramid appears to have had its plan changed in the middle. The red pyramid was a proof of concept. Then the three biggies and the tower of Babel. Then poof.

I dig it

There can be only one rule/reg - "to move in a straight line"... https://www.etymonline.com/word/rule
Maybe back then it was only one place.
Like all continents were 1?
Place/plat - "to spread"...only within singularity (cause) can each unit (effect) spread.

How do u know if it was the great pyramids that came first and they were trying to replicate it afterwards with no success...?
