He says this as though it matters.
It's still a distraction. The fact is that the coroners report will be faked and the evidence has already been destroyed. The actual people who pulled the trigger are pawns in a bigger game, run by the people who conduct the investigstion.
But yeah, if people aren't willing to act, it makes no difference.
