I don't doubt that a lot (most) of it was, but I know people who started having long-term health problems after getting sick, no shot.
It's the Spike Proteins. These are synthetic proteins designed to penetrate human cells, up to and including the brain and reproductive organs. We know that they are inherently pathological and can cause different types of damage including inflamation and vascular damage, as well as forming dangerous clot networks.
SPs were added to a relatively harmless bat coronavirus which only served as a replicator. You can still get "Long Covid" from them but your immune system will eventually shut down the virus and it should clear up, other than the damage done.
The jabs actually reprogrammed human cells to produce SPs on their own. Does the immune system target these cells for destruction or do they keep producing until they die? Can reprogrammed cells reproduce and, if so, will the new cells continue to produce SPs? How does the immune system handle SPs if they aren't acting as viruses?
We have no idea. We won't know the full extent for at least another 20 years.
Many viruses have spike proteins, not just corona, They are naturally occurring and not synthetic. They have a scary name but they are really just a mechanism to attach the virus to a host cell so it can inject the capsid contents (DNA) into the cell and hijack it to replicate the virus.
Much of the damage described is due to the virus, the inflammation, the cognitive function problems and the circulatory problems, were not cause by the vaccine.
I was lucky enough to contract COVID right at the beginning of the outbreak, It took me down for a week, as sick as I have ever been. If it were experimented on for gain of function, at least it mutated to lesser strains instead of amping up. This could have been really bad, and one doctor's opinion about the mRNA delivery system does not meet the criteria for a good study of the issue.

How would we know what caused the injuries he describes when he had the vaccine and the infection concurrently? The initial wave of infections were much worse than what came later.
Spike proteins exist on all coronaviruses, influenza and HIV. The word "Spike" sounds scary but really refers to a small protrusion on the capsule of the viirus that aids in viral insertion. All viruses require hijacking the cells natural processes to replicate themselves.

Later on, Italy disclosed that over 80% of people in the hospitals in the first wave died due to bacterial infections and not the coof.
Furthermore, most of the casualties early on were geriatrics with diabetes, cancer and heart disease - people who run a significant risk of any flu-like illness. After the vaxx there were plenty of young and healthy people who got myocarditis, turbo cancer and died suddenly.

As for 5G, there are studies showing the detrimental effects of EMF. I don't think it was instrumental in the pandemic but it could amplify some of the effects.
