Google Search has essentially been a fake search engine (little more than a shallow facade) for at least 5 years now and there's virtually no mention of it anywhere.
Ponder the conditions that would have to be present to permit the most popular search engine on the planet be swapped out with a fake/dummy version of itself and have almost nobody anywhere even mentioning it.

The ai part of it now makes itself sound so authoritative like some arbiter of truth, it creeps me out a bit.
One point - search for a small business in your area. Even if you put the actual site name, it will still give you 5-6 options above that. If it’s a restaurant you’ll get links for DoorDash or Yelp way before you get the link to the actual restaurant.
I stopped using Google years ago since they hide certain news stories they don’t want you to see.
Lol, for just 5 years, huh? How about since google was funded....it was probably planned before that.
I've noticed. Yandex has been more useful.
I have started to think the search was dehregaded to make way for AI. It's almost impossible to get anywhere using Google and now with their Gemini AI giving better results.

move on from google?, what do you use?>? Me? I use brave it is ad free reliable and does the job ig. I've been having some issues finding niche things. I used to pick up a lot of neat stuff on random russian threads. I've noticed I cant find them anymore or what im looking for most of the time. I want free I want to sail the seas. but it really is 2 page results and the just dead. AI is just regurgitating reddit posts. They trained the ai on the search engines, then once they had it locked in they locked it up.
I miss the old internet finding new sites, exploring, To find a new White ally site you essentially have to ask. ourchan is currently on lock down due to jews, just like frenschan before it. I dont see it lasting much longer the internet was the last thing pacifying the people; maybe, just maybe, they went to far this time but maybe everyone left is soulless. maybe we are the only ones left? maybe it is just us king. Dead internet theory. Look at any video from five years ago.
When you used to search for something, you would often find 20 pages of results, but you could click every page and see them.
Somewhere like five years ago(more like 9-12 prolly), after clicking the 5th or 6th page, just brings you to a "oops page doesnt exist". I dont know if supports the dead internet theory, but it shows they heavily started to curate search results back then.
With the ai now, i dont see those dead pages anymore, it just shows me what the ai thinks is true and then maybe a page or two.
To find anything not mainstream, ive had to use yandex, but its been getting worse lately too.
