This is the exact same sort of counter argument against reality where "they are not the real LGBTQ+ people, we are the real LBGTQ+ people" or "Stalin Mao and Pol Pot failed in communism."

It's the exact same counter argument that diverts everyone from the reality that an ideology that preaches killing everyone who exhibits even the slightest sense of free will and denies proper hiygene as Satanic drivel killed trillions within a millennia in Europe and is spreading the bodycount worldwide.

And why would you call Catholics real Christians if they don't follow Christ's teachings? Certainly the Vatican does not follow Christ. You can find individual Catholics who are actually studying the Bible, but ultimately then their allegiance is not with Rome if they are saved, because the two will be at odds when SHTF.

Catholics claim they have apostolic succession and are indeed the true Church of Christ who ordained Peter as its leader and who sent the Holy Spirit at Pentecost upon the apostles.
