If you are not aware, everything you get on your computer from internet, is only things your computer (browser in case of web) requested.

It's completely up to you - whether your computer will ask remote server for ads or not.

If you don't want to control what your browser request, then it's your fault.

It is insanity, really. If you don't want a brawl, you don't go to nigger ghetto shouting "fuck niggers". Same with ads.

There are tons of tools to cut ads, so just use them. There is even addon for automatically skippinng advertising done by video auther, like SponsorBlock. If you want to watch youtube videos, you even don't need browser, use videoplayer with yt-dlp and watch youtube videos in videoplayer program, even without fucking recommendations and any other shit from youtube page.

You can thank the Jeets for this shit.

I remember the days when ads were few and far between. Drives me nuts that these days we have to be exposed to an ad for every goddamn video we access.

If you imagine a man sticking his head on the screen watching a 5 second bumper followed by a 30 second AD and a 15 minute AD, you have a very good idea of how the future of the Internet will look like.

And they will KEEP making it happen until it does, and if they do you are DEAD.

And believe it or not, they will find ways to bypass Adblock and the end result will be similar to Twitch (unskippable 30 second ADs galore).

Exodus while you still can.

That’s why you just block ads entirely. Can’t be unskippable if you never see them at all.

That's too bad. Guess I'll just be on my phone when those come on

Ad (toward) vert (to turn)...hence using advertisements to turn minds from perceivable origin towards suggested outcomes.

A mind turned thinks circular (logic), while turning against others (reason).
