I'm starting to believe that the laws of nature produce these results rather than it being intentionally designed. Think of it as the "crystalline structure of evil ". I could be wrong, but it's almost as if certain actions bring about these results
OP looks far-stretched, but I like your "crystalline structure of evil" theory. Where the evil concentrates in some place above saturation level, it become to precipitate in physical form just like salt from saturated solution.
And perhaps what was noticed years ago was not fully understood. It's still not fully understood
I think that is too far a stretch even for me. The fires making a pentagon could be coincidence or planned, but I dont think a supernatural force caused the pattern.
I believe in God and evil. If this post was the George Floyd mural that got hit by lightning, I would agree that the divine may have stepped in. If it was a comedian collapsing after mocking Jesus, yeah maybe that was a supernatural occurrence.
But I dont believe satan has power over anything but the corruption of people. God performs miracles and God smites, but satan is a weak, pathetic fallen angel, not even a ruler or high rank as he is just another demon. The only power he has, MAYBE, is to whisper into your ear and bring you temptations.
I guess to clarify. I was thinking about the crystalline structure of atoms. I don't believe any atom can arrange a pentagon crystalline structure, but I could be wrong. I was musing about how the laws of nature manifest themselves without any influence, just how they arrange. Everything seeks equilibrium (lowest energy state) and this may be the shape evil takes, and noticed by those who came before us but not having the knowledge we have now just associated the shape with evil deeds. Patterns exist in the natural world and recognition of those patterns serve as a sign.
So, intelligent design, but evil...
