I remember every winter it would snow and I would not see grass for 4 months. If anyone had a older property, they had cellars. Why? The reality is we are living in a pocket called an interglacial. It will end someday, when would prolly require knowing the how. But I dont think its coincidence they dont teach us about it in high school.
Prolly not a good idea to tell people that civilization as we know it is going to end, eventually. Ignorance really is bliss in this case I suppose.
