An offshoot of the healing revivals of the 1950s, it’s a twisted notion that the Bible is some kind of quid-pro-quo contract that says the faithful get all the rewards here on earth; that financial blessing and physical well-being are always the will of God for Christians — and that faith, positive speech, and donations to religious causes will increase one's material wealth.

Now I may not believe in abrahamic religions, but I do believe in something. And I do have faith that when death happens its not truly the end.

Yeah, some Old Testament figures kind of bended the rules a little, but the Catholic Faith teaches to not lie under any circumstances, so that is that. The Lord will control the outcome if we trust in Him.
