Yeah, some Old Testament figures kind of bended the rules a little, but the Catholic Faith teaches to not lie under any circumstances, so that is that. The Lord will control the outcome if we trust in Him.

a) Doesn't circum/circle imply fully bend?

b) Does being alive imply ones stance within a circle or within a line (inception towards death)?
