Even if I agree with a lot of Fuentes' core beliefs, I think he is an idiot incapable of convincing others. This selfish mindset reminds me of the MGTOW phenomenon of the 2010s... I can't blame any western men who look around at the current system and say "fuck it" and check out and focus on getting theirs.
But these men are not the men we should be following. They are charlatans. They say controversial things because it benefits them first and foremost. But it adds nothing.
Vance isn't perfect. He is definitely infected at some level with the woke virus from his days at Yale, but maybe he has actually overcome it. Many of us have. But I do think he understands the issues affecting middle america better than most, and we need that.
