I always thought the Beast with Seven Heads was the European Union. There were seven kingdoms - that is to say, seven crowned heads -- among the nations that make up the EU. Then Brexit happened and the UK left the EU - leaving the Beast without one of its crowned heads.

Perhaps in the near future, the UK will re-join the EU. This would be the healing of the deadly head wound. The Beast would have seven heads again. Perhaps Prince William or another member of the UK royals will become head of the EU one day. That might be a fitting position for an Anti-Christ to achieve.
