Pope Francis, any one of the various Protestant denominations that allow women priestesses, or lesbian bishops, etc. etc.

Yeah, Catholics aren’t Christians. They’re Catholics. And most of them will rot in hell. Get hyped!

“Protestant” beliefs are all over the place, some are retarded (women holding leadership roles, in your example). Again, not Christians.

Catholics are also Hebrews, who by tradition, and because of the Spanish Inquisition, were forced to convert and lose their biblical tradition.

Catholic are the original Christians, seeing as there were no other types until the various denominations broke off later.

That's absolutely retarded.

Nobody was a true Christian until Luther, 1,500 years later? Or was it Calvin? Or was it John Knox?

Or are the only true Christians the one listening to Pastor Bob at the Evangelical church converted from the out-of-business Pizza Hut building?

Hilarious.

We have the same faith as the early Christians. Turns out it was all documented... and look no pope! No nuns. No purgatory. No indulgences. And no conquest by the sword.

I'm glad you admit that you think that everybody got it wrong for 1,500 years. All of us Catholics, Orthodox, Chaldeans, and Armenian Christians, among others. Nobody was saved until Luther came along, or Brother Bob at your storefront church.

You only had to remove 7 books from the Bible to get you there.

No. Why do you think that? Christ had Christian followers (disciples), not Catholic followers. Catholics don’t follow Christ or his teachings, they follow the Pope.

▲ 1 ▼
– Mad_King_Kalak 1 point 1 year ago +4 / -3

Words have meanings. Follow does not mean worship, worship does not mean follow. Worship is what makes one Christian. I follow the law, I don't worship it.

Catholics worship Christ, as Christians do. Popes are successors of St. Peter, whom Christ himself made leader of the Apostles while he still walked the earth.

permalink parent save report block reply
▲ 2 ▼
– Dorktron4Runner 2 points 1 year ago +3 / -1

True, but the disciples did worship Christ while here. They were his “servants” and in servitude to him. They also followed him, it isn’t mutually exclusive.

Catholics and their church definitely don’t follow Christ’s teachings unless you think Christ endorses LGBT, abortion, old earth theory, and countless other ideas that mock God, Christ, and the Bible. If you don’t follow His teachings, how can you worship Him?

Can you cite the verse where the “Pope” is mentioned in the Bible? The “Pope” is a manmade construct, a deceiver, just look at the current one.

▲ -2 ▼
– Mad_King_Kalak -2 points 1 year ago +1 / -3

Well, now, that's what it always comes down to for Protestants, some version of sola scriptura and a denial of holy tradition with each individual as the final arbiter of interpretation.

As for your question, don't change the words. Words have meanings. I said the pope is the successor of St. Peter. Do you agree, or not, that Peter was the leader of the Apostles? Let's go from there.

The current crop of Latter-day Saints who have now jumped behind the perversion movement and are now baptizing unrepentant trans people into the Church and recording them as their gender of choice.

If the was ever a church of Satan, this is it. But you can't talk about it

you ever see those churches that inexplicably have a very expensive and robust stage setup as if they're doing a concert, fly rainbow flags, and focus exclusively on the tolerance aspect of Christianity and nothing else?

those.

they call themselves Christian and they center their beliefs around Jesus Christ, even if its shallow.

Yeah some of what you mentioned are lies, some are exaggeration.

"Trump really won" is an example of a lie but not a fairy tale.

Skyman watching everything you do and going to heaven when you die are examples of fairy tales.

I've got to say, I haven't heard many conspiracy theories about Satan himself, only conspiracy theories that certain people are individuals are controlled by Satan.

what's a good conspiracy theory about Satan?

I think the demonic army is now infiltrating through frequencies we've unleashed from smashing atoms. Or the information we've tapped into to with computers, thinking we've developed it, is actually just a greater access point for them to invade your lives and disrupt anything you may have with God. I also think the abomination of desolation will be some kind of organoid intelligence 'robot' that will try to enslave the world. How 'bout you?

permalink parent save report block reply
▲ 4 ▼
– ApparentlyImAHeretic 4 points 1 year ago +4 / -0

those would be conspiracy surrounding hell and demonic forces, but I'm talking about Satan or Lucifer himself.

for instance, I have heard it said that Satan is the prosecutor and The punisher of the Damned in hell, and yet Lucifer is supposedly an angel who rebelled against God. assuming both of these things are true, I'm not necessarily sure these are entirely the same being.

▲ 2 ▼
– Thisisnotanexit [S] 2 points 1 year ago +2 / -0

I'd have to think on that, I have a hard time believing satan has order and structure, I assume it's a chaotic nightmare. Also I'd assume satan's minions and other lost souls would do the tormenting but all souls in Hell are tormented by their own tattered souls and battered brains regardless of outside animosity, I think.

The idea that smashing atoms together releases or summons a "demonic army" may be the dumbest crap I've ever heard. You really think God made the study of subatomic particles release a "demonic army"?

Any frequencies that would effect humans would be via cell towers that they insist on placing everywhere, or the radiation from the wifi in your home. Any effect from a particle accelerator thousands of km away would be small and short lived, even if it was somehow meant to be demonic.

▲ 1 ▼
– Thisisnotanexit [S] 1 point 1 year ago +1 / -0

I think smashing atoms shakes things in ways neither of us can possibly know. I do think there's something about different frequencies. I said it all super schitzy in this post but the basis of it could be something.

That's highly speculative with little evidence other than creepy CERN opening ceremonies. Meanwhile these people are directly injecting others with strange substances and setting up new arrays of towers on every street corner.

That is something clear and present in people's lives. CERN is a joke IMHO (ok maybe not humble about it today).
