u/Elvis_Interstellar strikes me as tolerant more than subversive. Near as I can tell, "all products welcome" and "don't ask questions" are the orders of the day. This makes for low-hanging fruit for brigades, but that seems to be ConPro culture. The interdependencies among various "free-speech" communities here are kaleidoscopically fascinating.
That post deserved to be removed, but I don't agree with permabanning for a single post unless the user is clearly a troll.

Ahh well, my bad.. I think that there was another user that posted a bunch of BBC around this account, and and I clicked through on the wrong one.. I will be more careful in the future. Nice catch
That’s certainly the aura he attempts to present. You’d need quite a more intimate knowledge of what happened there over the last few years to pierce that veil and see it isn’t “free speech” which drives his decisions.
Atleast, that’s the conclusion I’ve come to (along with most of the actual, human users over there with attention spans long enough to care).
There’s a reason 95% of posts made there are made by accounts which don’t post comments, and it ain’t about freeing speech, but controlling it
