He said business had slowed significantly. He did used to work for Yellow/YRC that filed for bankruptcy after taking a big loan from the government (aka our tax dollars). He said we have a decent amount of shipments, when we are a small company. He also said his wife isn't selling any houses right now, which is obvious given the state of the housing market. Wine and death, the big money makers. Interesting to hear that from someone I know, so thought I'd share here.

Homies a trucker and said work has slowd down a lot. To the point we actually got to hang out cuz he got off work early lol. We have one of the largest ports in the country so that's not a good sign.
it's kind of strange to me, because I feel like my job has more orders than ever...but we still have supply chain issues and manpower issues. but it's hard to hire anyone new...so I guess they're reluctant to do so.
