If the placebo effect is real and works, then why didn't the vaccine prevent the spread?
Because... the powers that be pushed fear which is effectively the 'nocebo' effect. Also, the vaccine, as with all vaccines, are objectively harmful.
My assumption is because the vaccine is hijacking the spike protein or whatever, its basically overwriting your natural immunity.

Also a placebo roughly works half the time, thats not enough to stop the spread of things like virus's. You need something like 90% to do that.

I meet with a small group over the internet once a week and we do "intentions" for one another. I feel like it's also some kind of placebo effect. It's amazing how well it works. Crazy things that just don't seem like they could be coincidental. The other ladies say they just call it a prayer group when they talk to people about it.
Placebo is a much safer way to treat illnesses than traditional pharmaceuticals. No horrible side effects. Doctors don’t use them for treatment because it’s considered unethical.
Ethics just means that (((someone))) makes money. Morality is completely different.
