Yeah. There's a reason Putin went back to using typewriters for his most sensitive operations/data

We used to say there are 3 things to put in your grant application to help it be accepted: 3d printing, machine learning and blockchain.

3d printing is probably out of the door these days.

STEM I kind of got, but if you add art back to make STEAM, what did you exclude?

Also, what is STEAM2?

The main issue I see with household 3D printers is you still have to do something. So many people don't even change the oil in their lawn mower or even mow the lawn themselves.

3D printers are still tools to do work. If you don't want to do work, you won't use the tool.

I'm gonna admit. Gen X here. I grew up with tech, and at some point in the 90s got skeptical, and lost any notion of keeping up. I have no clue what the blockchain is, and damned if I'm going to let anyone tell me that anything digital is good.

As far as I'm concerned the blockchain is just another way that the powers that be came up with to rob me of the so very little I have.

Even the most revered blockchain will be rendered useless against a highly developed/evolved AI

Wait until AI starts hacking bitcoin wallets (or nuclear reactors)

AI anon hacking could be their justification for internet IDs.

Blockchain is an immutable, time stamped transaction. Sounds like a solid system for voting, non internet connected machines scan in paper ballots, save paper ballots for hand verification checks. And for banking, blockchain can be used for gold backed paper and digital currency. 😀
