I refused the TDAP, flu shot, & clot shot for my last pregnancy. Got weird looks but no pushback…then in the hospital they tried hard to get me to take the DTAP after birth & acted bewildered when I dug in my heels. According to one nurse, I was the ONLY woman in the ward that weekend who had zero issues with pregnancy, birth, and recovery. I was an anomaly.
I had rhesus syndrom with my second child. The only problem is, his big brother is B-..They specifically told me taking the rhogam shot when I didn't need it is wha caused my suffering round two. The protocols for that shot have even changed these days. I no longer blindly follow reccomendations. They don't have to live with the after effects.
