Are you sure it doesnt have anything to do with the systematic dumbing down of education through reduced funding and more rigid curriculum?

Not to mention the billions of advertisements one is bombarded with in their lifetime?

I think I blame those two things more than anything.

I like this guys thoughts about the dumbing down of educational systems.

About advertisements, if you cant make the connection. Ill help you.

Back in the 70s, it was reported that the average person saw between 500 to 1600 ads per day. Without online marketing being a thing back then, most ads could be found on billboards, in newspapers, and on TV promoting the latest products.

A few decades later, and advertising had exploded into everyday life. In 2007, the market research firm Yankelovich estimated that the average consumer saw up to 5,000 ads per day,

Fast forward to 2021, and although there are no official figures, the average person is now estimated to encounter between 6,000 to 10,000 ads every single day.

I am sure your thinking, "So what, your seeing ads, being bombarded with thousands of choices, why would any of that matter retard."

Because as it turns out, people on the average only have a certain amount of decision making power.

All by design. But yes lets blame the masses, so eazy, so chique.

I am blaming technology. In my example of a handcrafted automobile.

The same technology no longer writing letters. Instead it produces concepts, where everything is discrimination to using it. Until it has become far more intelligent. Meanwhile the masses using it are a bunch of autists. Never seen so many in my life, today. Just go on Reddit. Read those comments. No more critical thinking, it has become another concept to cancel everything else, until it has also been plagiarised. The only intelligence found is off another advert repeated.
