Seen any purple street lights around town? While they put off a serious Cats vibe, it's actually a manufacturing defect of some LED bulbs, according to Evergy. The manufacturer is taking full responsibility to replace them. They should be swapped out over the next 4-6 months.
I might buy that, if this had not been happening since at least 2018. Some of the theories back then was that there were cameras in the bulb and that this light made it easier for the cameras to see.
4 Years later and the best they got is, "manufacturers defect". Seems sketch to me.
Another thing is, the lights seem to be getting installed this way, not going bad.
-edit-
Seems that I am thinking of blue streetlights, although maybe purple is just the new variant. Some studies claim they can reduce violence, and some bathrooms use blue lights to deter drug use.
DId come across a couple of these articles though, so I dont sound so paranoid nutter.
The US Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) have hidden an undisclosed number of covert surveillance cameras inside streetlights around the country, federal contracting documents reveal.
According to government procurement data, the DEA has paid a Houston, Texas company called Cowboy Streetlight Concealments LLC roughly $22,000 since June 2018 for “video recording and reproducing equipment.” ICE paid out about $28,000 to Cowboy Streetlight Concealments over the same period of time.
There are cases when a LED light can spy by covertly listening and then send that audio over 300 meters away to the eavesdropper. But this time, it is the LED fixtures that are the “backbone” of a new surveillance system scrutinizing and recording us. The New York Times reported that 171 LED fixtures inside Terminal B at Newark Liberty International Airport are “watching” us.
Aren't they sensors when to turn on, or perhaps adjusting the lighting. Smart lights.
There is a conspiracy on lights. Let me bring up the damage.

These LEDs with the 5G sensors are terrible.
Super weird.
Indeed!

All tech from 4 years ago lol...

Install one of those brush bars on the front of your truck so you can run it over.
You still risk smashing the windshield though. Maybe there are bars you can install that negate impact to windshield when running over obstacles.
