What's the difference between "Refuge in the Lord" and Hopium?
Sometimes I catch myself praying to God for something I am capable of obtaining or accomplishing with my own will power and motivation. I do believe God or some higher force saves my ass often and must help me along the way. What I am addressing and I think Mutabaruka is saying is the pacifism and inaction that is caused by hope and prayer.

I think technology and innovation and combustible engine and such has created an abundance. The abundance is siphoned and stolen by the elite via fiat currency and inflation and other mechanisms of deceit. Easy times created weak men. We have not truly seen hard times if everyone has full bellies, even if its goyslop.

a) suggested RE (response to) FUGIO (to flee) tempts one to flee from perceivable origin, hence the setup for hopium aka suggested outcomes, which is being directed with fear of perceivable outcome (death).
b) difference (living) within sameness (process of dying) aka partials within whole.
