Some people think every fucking thing is a conspiracy theory. A train wreck, a police shooting, earthquakes. If they order a hamburger and it comes without pickles, they automatically assume the Men In Black stole their pickles.
What makes more sense is just accepting that forces of good and evil are at play. Some things happen by chance. Some of us serve the force of good. Some of us serve force of evil. None of us are wholly good or evil.

The biggest flaw with this argument is that there's no reason not to just kill a peasant. Like... Why bother faking it when really killing her is just so much easier?

It is largely fraudulent. FBI dressed as protesters. Cameras in key locations. Police waving people in.
I'm not convinced that Ashli Babbitt was actor, or that the shooting was faked, or that it was entirely a psy-op. Largely manipulated though, with people trained in directing and organizing and manipulating crowds. Guys like Ray Epps.

If pressure was put on wound they could have mitigated blood loss.
I think your theory is plausible. There does seem to be very little blood. Also, it's hard to believe officer would shoot her if other officers are directly behind her. and if she has officers directly behind her, they could have just restrained her without deadly force.
That footage was reviewed shortly after it happened and shared on TheDonald two years ago. There are many things about the footage that seem strange and acted.
I guess what I am arguing is that it wasn't entirely fake. They tricked lots of real people to show up and unwittingly participate in what may have been a planned or staged psy-op.
The thought that American Federal government would care enough about its veterans that they'd go through the trouble of faking this. Expendable pawn was expended.
