If that balloon was Chinese spy technology, why did the military blow up the evidence? (youtu.be)

One interpretation:

A nation of irrelevant identity wishes to fire an icbm into America. Worried of automatically deployed air defense, they hire a friend to test. Is the balloon blown up immediately? What type of missile or flak is used to intercept? What size radar signature illicits a response? The balloon checks for radar locks, to see the source of our detection capabilities. Taking tally of where our defenses are.

Why did the US allow the balloon to fully cross the nation? A) maintains obscurity about the quickness of reflexive response, B) allows for decoy radar nests to deploy, feeding the spy misinformation.

Or maybe Biden sold the US to China and they are gathering some promised intel..

Edit: oh no, downvote the guy who thinks for himself for two seconds. Just be sure not to debate or give a reason for it. Just anonymous downvotes.

Downvoted for reasonable speculation on a conspiracy board.

That actually makes sense. Personally I think it was likely just a media stunt. Wouldn't surprise me if it wasn't even Chinese

Why would China be interested in any sort of old school warfare when their 5th gen warfare had been far more effective? The 20 million it took to build that satellite balloon could have been spent on paying off our politicians or military contractors for far more gain than a stupid balloon can get. This is clearly a cover story, but for what is the question? Personally I think they are trying to hide the fact orbiting Satellites don't exist.

Also why did they just change the wiki of the F22 from a ceiling height of 65000ft to 50000ft? The video gives a pretty good reason.

Sure. The balloon was shot down to cover up that the earth is flat, and China has no allies who are currently threatening war with the west.

Good talk.

By drawing your attention to what you're implying satellites actually are? Doesn't make sense

The public was spotting and recording the balloon anyway, they had to act and form our perception. We all have an idea of what satellites supposedly look like from cgi images and movies. So when people saw what looks like s satellite hanging from a balloon they had to come up with a stupid Chinese cover story. In addition people are more likely to trust their government if they see external threats like China or Russia.

The public won't ever doubt satellites because of a balloon. Still doesn't explain why the media chose to draw even more attention to it, either. They let things die when they don't like it.

If satellites are balloons, these should be spotted way more frequently.

Most of the public won't investigate any conspiracy theories. However, there are millions who will. Satellites on balloons are one of the many things that got me to investigate the moonlandings, ISS, and NASA. These balloons are spotted constantly, they malfunction and decend in areas they will be noticed by the public. And they are also spotted at night when passing in front of the moon (from the observers perspective).

Yea the media will often ignore stories they don't want talked about, and let them die within 1 news cycle. But they constantly offer establishment explanations on just about any slightly conspiratorial subject we can talk about.

You'd not trust the evidence if it was released, as the US gov't can make stuff up just as well as the Chinese can lie and say it was a research balloon.

This was just a theatrical prop not a Chinese spy balloon. The Chinks claimed it is theirs, just as they claimed they'd found a "virus" in Wuhan. They are all in on it. A military grade spy balloon flies at 30-50 km above the surface and has zero radar signature. You cannot just shoot it down with missiles, let alone see it in broad daylight. They are cooking something up. Deep shit is coming our way.

Looks like they did get the evidence: https://patriots.win/p/16aA4MCmQf/navy-divers-recover-debris-from-/c/

US now says it self-destructed:

https://patriots.win/p/16aA4MCEOk/chinese-spy-airship-potentially-/c/

If it was a research balloon, why have that on it? Further, since the Chinese have not cared about space junk falling to earth, before why care now.

Who knows for sure if it was shot with a missle or self detonated. The only thing I am sure of is whatever story we get will be a lie, and orbiting Satellites in a vacuum don't exist. It seems like the story isn't staying consistent.

Lol OK, the media is totally right, it's a Chinese spy balloon. And we had to blow it up rather than study it's components and capability.
