My great aunt starved herself (back in the 80s-90s) of nutrients eating nothing but carbs (mostly crackers and bread) because of the stupid food pyramid thinking fat was going to make her fat.
It's why I started loathing the government many years ago, they have done incalculable damage lying to the public about what healthy food is on purpose for the past 100 years.
Bad nutrition will derail fitness goals regardless of being in a caloric deficit. Just like not all fuel is equally good for a car. Decent nutrition+ caloric deficit on a sustained basis guarantees weight loss.
A calorie-deficient, high sugar diet is still incredibly bad for your A1C, kidney function, blood pressure, and hormone production. That's why they still pump carbs as a food group.
A calorie-deficient, high animal protein diet will help retain muscle mass, lower A1C and increase hormone production.
If you want to perceive the effects of eating raw, the best way to start is to buy organic eggs. Raw cheese and milk are good starters too.
Make this breakfast which is very low risk:
3 raw eggs (shaked, you want to eliminate viscosity), 200ml milk, some sugar or liquid honey.
You should notice the difference affects energy levels on the positive.
First times it is coupled with a heavier digestion as the stomach isn't used to it, so it's like you are both more energetic but also busy digesting for longer.
I think eating raw is giving me higher pH in the stomach but it takes time to adapt.
But energy levels are totally worth it. Mental focus. And if you ever tryied to eat afrodisiacs and felt them, you have no idea what is waiting for you at the end of a raw liver meal.
In the end eating raw and drinking blood isn't really on a different moral level than cooked meat. Eventually it's even more respectful, as you make sure to use every usable part and not waste the sacrifice. Priests used to make sweets with pig blood for most of history. Shepherds always drank cow blood.
... I can't buy bull testicles or cow blood anywhere in my city, but i can find them online easily, and grass fed certified too, for cheap. It is called dog food. Barf!
Then tell me how much "calories" you "out" every day if you can (you can't).
I'm sorry to say this but you're misinformed really badly. How the fuck thermo (heat) dynamics (movement) is relevant, when human body doesn't even oxidize protein. Please explain to me if you can (you can't).
Calorie thing is used because there is really no better alternative to measure the metabolic energy, which does not mean it's actually reliable/accurate.
It's totally possible to lose weight by eating more "calories" by cranking up the protein intake for example.
Your body tries to keep your blood sugar in a set range. If you eat carbs your blood sugar spikes so your body produces insulin to knock it down. The problem is if you repeatedly spike your blood sugar, by eating sugary snacks your cells start to become insulin resistant. When that happens you need a higher insulin level to push the sugar into your cells, but also the other way around, you need a lower insulin level in order for them to release the energy again. This means people who are insulin resistant your fat cells just don't release the energy, and they hold onto more of it. If your fat cells don't release the energy you eat more because you are hungry!
The reason a high fat diet works is because you can't spike your blood sugar eating fat. So people who are insulin resistant this starts to return to normal.

much obliged

Calories in, calories out. Nobody can beat thermodynamics
More “calories are all the same” government-sponsored bullshit.
Elaborate?

Take the raw meat, raw milk, raw eggs pill
Has been working myself to new height health wise (obviously being careful to select sources)
I’ll take a look into it. Wary of eating raw meat altogether but I’ll research it.

You are basically right. The issue is if you are insulin resistant your fat cells don't release the energy properly when your insulin level drops.
I think it’s that high insulin levels preclude stored fat metabolism.
